EVERY WEEK TERM TIME: Toddler Group Church Hall 1.30pm

Lent Boxes are now available to take today for your donations. Take one, fill one and return to Church at Easter! Church Army, CMS & Leprosy Mission

Saturday 30th March: We will be making posies for Mothering Sunday. 
If you can help, in any way, putting the posies together, everything will be ready in church to start at 10am. Any bright or unusual greenery is always welcome. Thanks to those who have already offered to help.

Saturday 30th March: 7 for 7.30pm Brighton Orpheus Choir perform Elgar’s Dream of Gerontius at All Saints in Hove. Tickets available on the door or online

Thursday 4th April: 2.30-4pm Messy Vintage at Shadwells Court

Saturday 6th April: 10am Volunteers needed to help clear the stable and garage at church please. See Mike for further information

Sunday 7th April: Passion Sunday, Parish Eucharist will be celebrated by Bishop Mark. 5.00pm- Rural Dean Rev. Helena Buque will take a service of Penitence and Healing.

Monday 15th - 19th April: The office will be closed this week

Wednesday 24th April: Day of Prayer for St. James. Starting at 11.00am with the Eucharist followed by Julian Group the church will remain open until after Evening Prayer is said at 5.00pm.  This will be an opportunity to pray for our Annual Church meeting, for our PCC secretary and all involved, for people to be nominated and willing to serve on the PCC. For our own concerns and needs and the needs of our community and our part in it's life. Ruth Hitchcox

Saturday 18th May: Who Let the Dads Out? 9.30-11am Church Hall

OTHER: Thursday Evening Prayer 5.00pm All are welcome to join us for this short service using the Celebrating Common Prayer Book.  The prayer requests from the Prayer "Tree" are also offered.  


Tea & prayer Brexit drop-ins: The Archbishops and Bishop Richard are encouraging churches to provide a focus for reflection and reconciliation for local communities around Brexit. The national Church has produced a set of prayer resources and some suggested conversation starters. www.churchofengland.org/together

SUMMER CHURCH OPENING: We open our church between the hours of 14.00 and 16.00 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during the months of April to September.
